Photoshop Tutorials: Design FB Group Banner 784 by 250

If you are an SEO expert and playing services online through proper classes at Facebook group. Then the first thing is that your group cover must unique and attractive. Because the human mind can be converted by attractive things. If you’ve not striking cover for your group then member thinks that the owner is not skillful or lazy or many other excuses and will not come to in your group. Here in this tutorial we are going to design FB Group banner 784 by 250 size in Photoshop.

Steps to Design FB Group Banner 784 by 250

Step 1: Make Group Cover Document

First of all create a new document according the size of group cover. So go to File -> New from the Menu Bar and key down the command Ctrl + N.

A new window will open holding further option associated with a new document. First modify the name of the document as “FB Group Cover” with the pre mention name Untitled-1. After putting the name now select the Preset value as Custom from a drop down menu.

Go to below option and set out the values of Width and Height according to FB group cover size. Look out the group cover layout and judge the size in vertically and horizontally then adjust width and height. So I’ve put Width 6 Inches and Height 2 Inches or you can put  784 by 250 pixels because these are the actual size of FB group cover.

Now go to next option which is vital and related to graphics quality of the document. I’ve written several of time in previous tutorials about good and bad resolution and suggested you to put a good value of resolution related to file size. Now I’ve put Resolution 800 Pixels / Inches to get high-quality graphics results.

After setting the Resolution now pick up the Color Mode as RGB 8bit and Background Contents as White.

All choices have been filled, now click on an Ok button to apply the filling values for a new document. A new white blank sheet will appear on the screen like below picture.

You can see here is a lock on the background layer, first unlock it by doing double-click on the layer and make it operational.

Step 2: Fill Background with Solid Color

In this step change the background color of the cover. Select the color #5e5e5e from Color Picker Window and apply by Paint Bucket Tool with a single click.

Now go to Layer -> Layer Style -> Pattern Overlay from the main menu. A new window will expose, give Opacity 75%, Scale 30%, and pattern Fine Grain. Click on the Ok button to apply the proper Pattern Overlay.

Step 3: Draw Dotted Lines

Now draw the dotted lines with different colors like a Circuit. For this purpose select Freeform Pen Tool with Size 1pt and Line Dotted. One by one draw every dotted line with a different color in the way of an electric chip circuit. If you’ve made one line then hold the key Shift and made others just like below picture.

Step 4: Insert Different Custom Shapes

The dotted lines have been added of different colors; now insert various kinds of shapes from the Custom Shape Tool.

The many types of figures have been inserted into the cover. Now draw some additional circuit lines beyond the shapes. Follow the step 3 and give less Opacity at 50% from the Layer -> Layer Style -> Blending Options to all beyond lines.

Insert some images in the back circuit dotted lines and also decrease the value of Opacity of images such like above I’ve mentioned. You can insert images from the Custom Shape window with Fill None and Stroke color #595959.

Step 5: Write Text On The Shapes

Now add the text on the shapes by type tool, select the Type Tool from the Tool Bar and on every shape write all services names with text format Arial, font size 12pt and font color #ffffff.

Finally, we’ve made an inspired Facebook group cover within minutes by using Photoshop. Just save it in PNG image format into your computer. Go to File -> Save give path and extension PNG and click on save button. Enjoy this tutorial and try it at your end.

Conclusion

I conclude that it is easy to make an inspire Facebook group timeline page within minutes. First of all I created a new document from the File -> New then changed the background of the sheet. After that drew colorful dotted lines with the help of pen tool. Inserted figures of different shapes and different colors into cover. After that wrote text on the shapes by Type Tool. At the last saved the final cover into PNG image format. F
